COLLECTIVES
other indias // other indias is an anti-brahmanical, anti-patriarchal and anti-capitalist collective for movements, experiences and voices that are generous to the cause of collective liberation in/of the Indian subcontinent*, its human and non-human lives. We are a group of publicly anonymous volunteers based in the Netherlands working together to share and disseminate counter hegemonic voices and work concerning the subcontinent. We do so through organising regular screenings, community gatherings, workshops and reading circles
community craft circle // The community craft circle gathers to share skills that can be effectively used as tools for material change, and create different languages and techniques of dissent. We exist to assert a dissenting presence that urges on the need for non transactional ways of making, gathering, and fundraising, outside institutions and capital generating spaces. The craft circle is an instrument for rest, resistance, and resilience informed by our cultures and their enormous craft histories and practices
